I like the organic shapes of the fairings, and smooth seat cowl of this new kit, but, don't want the pretender-racer number plate crap! Triumph nailed the look with the Thruxton R + optional fairing. Great shapes, no stupid number plates!
I just picked up a 2014 V7 Racer last weekend, anyone in the SoCal area want to go for a ride through the Malibu Canyon's? Anyway, on to my main question: Does anyone have any production figures on the racers? The number on my handlebar plaque is 1398, out of how many?
Inspired by the record breaking '69 Moto Guzzi V7 the kit features a super light half fairing and a single racing seat with a duck tail spoiler at the back. The kit can be used on any Moto Guzzi Classic, V7 Stone and V7 Special with the optional factory clip-ons.
The clip-ons have to be lowered about 32 mm in order to clear the fairing, resulting in a more committed riding position. I should be able to raise them a little after trimming the wind screen some. The geniuses at MG packed TWO right mirrors, and non left one.
